AMICO is founded on the principles of faith shared by the evangelical Christian churches, listed below:
3. We believe in divine inspiration and in the entire reliability of the Holy Scriptures as originally given, and in their supreme authority in every matter of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21; Romans 1:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13).
4. We believe that man was created by God in His image and likeness. Following the original sin, the entire humanity inherited a sinful nature that subjects it to the just condemnation of God (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 5:1; Romans 5:12-14; Romans 3:23-24).
5. We believe in the redemption from sin, punishment, domination and corruption of sin, solely through the atoning death of the Lord Jesus Christ, incarnate Son of God (Romans 5:10-21; John 5:17-18; Hebrews 2:14-18; Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24).
6. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from death and His ascension into heaven to the right of the Father. He is the only mediator between God and men (Luke 23:46; Luke 24:1-53; Mark 16:19; Acts 2:23-36; Romans 8:34; 1 Timothy 2:5).
AMICO is above all Christian. Our members come from different evangelical denominations but they believe that this diversity is a useful asset to the advancement of their common faith in Jesus Christ. We work together to encourage and motivate each other in order to fulfill our mission as Christian professionals.
